Register:
If you wish to volunteer, first please register your name, e-mail, address and choose a password to join the list of volunteers. You must have a working e-mail. You will receive an e-mail with a web link to follow to confirm your email and complete the registration. If you don't recieve an e-mail confirmation, try checking your Spam or Junk Mail.

If you had registered previously with this site, in 2009 or 2010, your account is still active. Simply login with your previously registered e-mail and password. You can reset your password if forgotten. If you cannot recall your registered e-mail or if it is no longer in use, you may register again with a new e-mail.

Volunteer:
Once you have registered, sign onto the site to search for available counting sites in your region. Sign in with your registered e-mail and password and then proceed with volunteering for a bicycle and pedestrian counting shift.

Purpose:
This website provides a web-based form for pre-registered volunteers to select their counting site location and counting time shifts for the 2011 Bicycle and Pedestrian Count. This web tool is meant to enable real-time shift sign up and to replace the back-and-forth e-mail shift registration and confirmation process.

About the Washington Bicycle and Pedestrian Count:
Each year, the Washington Department of Transportation solicits bicycle and pedestrian count information taken at six or more locations in a select number of cities throughout Washington State. Cascade Bicycle Club facilitates the counting and volunteer coordination. Data collected from these counts will be used to measure progress toward increasing bicycle and pedestrian travel as identified in the State Bicycle Facilities and Pedestrian Walkways Plan.
